Hello fellow bloggers, would you consider yourself a child of the West?
I was asked if I identify myself as a child of the West. There are many ways to interpret this question. One might say you are a child of the West if you are born in the west, but others might say if you have ancestors that journeyed to the West are children of the West. I have two sides to this questions because I was born here on the west coast but I don't have ancestors that have moved to the West. Even though I was born in the west I wouldn't consider myself a child of the west because I think the answer lies between the roots of your family and ancestors.

Coming of Age
Hello fellow bloggers! Have you ever had a moment where you felt like a part of you grew up?
The first time I felt I was coming of age was when I was babysitting my younger cousin. My uncle and his three year old son had just picked up my mom and I from the airport at four in the morning. We arrived at my family's house around five and my cousin was already bouncing off the walls with excitement. My aunt had trusted me to put him to sleep in time so that when we went out to lunch he would walk instead of sleeping in his stroller. I remember trying to get him to sleep but all he wanted to do was play with his toy air planes. He was a small monkey who couldn't seem to keep himself still. He bounced off the walls and I tried getting him to calm down. I gave him my sketch book from my back pack and few colored pencils. Fortunately, he took the bait and calmed himself down finding himself a little more tired every time he picked a new colored pencil. His eyes started to get heavy and then he was out like a light. I felt like a part of me had come of age because instead of having someone babysit me at this age I was the one helping.

My Legacy
Today I was told to transport myself 75 years from now and think of two things would I like my great grandchildren to think and remember about me.
If I were to transport myself 75 years from now and was interviewed by my great grandchildren, I would want them to remember that I was creative and selfless. Creativity is important to me, you don't have to be a great artist to be creative. What I love about it is that everyone has a unique way of expressing it. You can express it through music, art, and ideas. I would also like to have selflessness be apart of my legacy. I would like to be remembered as this because I think it's important to think of others before yourself. I really like this legacy because it shows that you would do anything for your friends and family.

My Identity
Hello fellow bloggers, these are three words about my identity and why I think they are important.
Friends: When I am surround by people I love, I am the best me I can be. I like having friends that I can trust and rely on through thick and thin. Having friends that can rely on me to be there when they need me is also really important to me.
Creativity: Many people show their creativity and others express it through their personality. I like expressing creativity through my art.
Soccer: This is a big part of my personality, when I'm playing nothing else matters in the world besides get the ball into the net. I grew up with soccer and it is something me and my father share.

My Revolutions
Hello fellow bloggers in this blog post I will explain what I would want to change in this world if I could and what revolutions I would be apart of during my lifetime.
Animal Cruelty: A revolution where we inform people that animals are living creatures too. People should spread awareness that lions are not trophies, dolphins are not for entertainment, and that rabbits are not for experimenting on. Like humans they also have a place on this world. This revolution would not have to be violent but as long as people receive the message of stopping animal abuse, we could still make a difference in the world.
World Peace: A revolution to have world peace is needed. People are fighting and starting wars to have more land or to have control over certain areas, but we all live on the same planet so why not all get along. Even though we all might have different ideas we should combine ideas and work together. This would of course be a peaceful revolution in which we would try and persuade people to end violence on this planet.

What is My Quest in Life?
Almost everyone has a plan, a plan they made to set up their entire life. I don't have a plan, nor do I want one. I'm still trying to figure out where I stand on this world or what I want to do in life, but I know
that when I do find out I'll enjoy every minute of it. I want to travel the world, discover new things and make magnificent memories. My quest in life is to do something remarkable or make an impact on the world. An idea or discovery that helps make Earth a better place for the next generations to come will be enough. As long as I am happy and have a reason to smile everyday my quest in life will be complete. Life is like a road, and you have the chance to go left or right.

Pisci-topia
2. Goals: The purpose of my utopia would be to create a thriving society in which everyone will be treated equally.
3. Population: Everyone is welcome as long as you are kind to the environment and its population.
4. Education: Everyone in this utopia will have the privilege to have an advanced education.
5. Religion: This utopia will be free to all religions.
6. Architecture: Buildings will be very modern. Everyone will have an equal share of land. This layout would not interfere with any natural habitats of course.
7. Politics/government: We will have a democracy. The people will vote on a Ruler they believe fits the job, but can be replaced if the Ruler becomes corrupt.
8. Entertainment: Abstract art, dances, music and athletics.
9. Science, Technology: Scientific studies will be focused on helping the environment and finding new ways to live efficiently.
10. Food, sustainability, health: Farms will provide most of the food along with trading among themselves.
11. Conflict resolution: If there is a conflict it will be resolved by having a discussion with all the parties involved.

8 Things
We have been studying and writing creation myths, and now it's my turn to introduce myself on this blog. I'll use the BIG questions about identity, meaning, and purpose that creation myths explore as my inspiration. Here are 8 things that provide some insight about who I am.
- I come from a planet called Earth.
- What matters to me is doing something remarkable in life.
- I love my family.
- I am going to my next class.
- I dread failing.
- I hope to never lose hope.
- I need food.
- I am human.
